Sunday 23rd October- No ideas on the Table, just locations!

Spoke to actors Gareth Packer and Aisling Famsworth about their involvement in this year's Halloween Challenge 2005. I had a drink with them in the local pub and discussed availability during next week.

Locations that might be possibly used for Halloween Project 

Monday 24th October- Think of some Ideas quickly!
Spent the whole day brain storming and coming up with ideas for the Halloween project. I also looked at locations that I might film in. A friend came round in the evening, and we’ll tried to come up with a plot and work around the locations, but nothing really original came up.

Tuesday 25th October - I've got a plan! 
The ideas start to form, after an hour phone conversation with a friend. I have drawn up a storyboard, but will not be putting together a script, as this is an improvisation piece.  I have already thought of a name for the film, "You Owe Me" The film in ways is similar to last years Halloween Project as it involves the conscious mind of a the main character.  I will say no more.

Wednesday 26th October - No Sleep, but productive
Spent the whole day shooting all the footage for the Halloween project. There were things that I liked and some things I were not happy about. Spent in total, shooting 4hours worth of footage, but I am planning to re-shoot the bedroom scene. Check out the productions stills below.

Thursday 27th October - Rewind and redo 
Spent the evening re-shooting the bedroom scene and picking extras shots, this turned out very successful.

Friday 28th October - Bad lighting outside 
Today, I captured all 4 hours footage on to external hard drive and will start editing early Saturday morning. Reviewed footage, should work quite well, some areas needed better lighting, but this is down to not having the lighting equipment outdoors.

Saturday 29th October - Where is the sound? 

Went looking sounds and clips that could be used for the film, but found nothing really useful.

Sunday 30th October - First segment of Halloween

I have completed the first segment of  the Halloween Challenge and I am hoping to have the whole project completed without sound tonight. Here is the first edit.  I will add the diary and all the Halloween films tomorrow at 10.30pm.

Monday 31st October - Halloween Challenge is finished but no sound on my film : (

I have finished the second edit with no sound and I going to put another edit with alterations  and sound in the next few days. Here are the films from The Halloween Challenge as they stand.  Well done to Def Monkey Productions and Reach for the Dream, who created  two excellent films! Happy Halloween guys.

Sunday  6th November - Getting there!

I have added some sound to the Halloween film "You Owe me" but it is completed and the sound I have used I am not totally happy with.  Here is the third cut of the Halloween Film.

Tuesday 8th November - Almost there!

Here is the forth cut of the film and it's 95% there. Click here to download. Just need to add the credits and a few more sounds.

Sunday 13th November - Finished but there is more on the way.....
